Congo Rebels form United Front

Kampala - Rival leaders of rebel groups battling the Congolese government in
Kinshasha said Thursday they have put their differences aside and plan to form a
united front.
The leader of the main rebel group, Ernest Wamba Dia Wamba, and his former rival, Jeane Pierre Bemba, said in Kampala they would jointly fight President Laurent Kabila.
"We have been holding talks with Bemba on how we can work together. Our ultimate aim is to merge into one political and military force," he said
