How to help TAMAR

You can help TAMAR in many ways: visiting any of the 22 stations existing along 8 states of the Brazilian coastline and spreading its conservation message; buying any product with the Tamar trademark (for sale at Tamar stations); or even adopting a sea turtle.

By adopting a baby turtle you will be supporting Tamar in its work for the conservation of marine turtles in Brazil, and also helping to maintain 350 fisherman that work for the Program. The adoption is symbolic, giving the chance to one more animal to reach the safety of the sea. You will receive an exclusive t-shirt and an "adoption certificate" with the name you have chosen for the baby turtle. Every 31^th March adopters enter a raffle for a one week trip for 2 persons, from anywhere in the world* (tickets courtesy of VARIG airlines), basic expenses paid, to Praia do Forte or Fernando de Noronha Island.

It is very simple to adopt a sea turtle. Just fill up the form bellow and send it with a check of US$ 50.00, payable to Fundação Pró-TAMAR, to the following address: Caixa Postal 2219, Rio Vermelho, Salvador - BA, 40210-970, Brazil.
